2005-2011

When I look back at my first entry from 2005 and what I am right now, it brings a big smile to my face. Such transformation in everything. From being a final year student and an intern to being a full time working mother/wife/daughter, life has indeed taken a drastic turn. In a very good sense that is.

I thought I was very busy back then and I just could not accommodate anything else in my life. Then I see what I have become today. I smile. And proudly say, I now know that I can do just so many more things even when I am so busy right now. Its just that you should really "want" to do things. The path is usually right in front of you. The motivation to do something more makes it visible.

Happy Birthday to my Dear Blog. Sorry for ignoring you soo badly. I promise that I would try very hard to make up for the cold treatment. I promise that today on wards for a month I will blog almost everyday.

Let us call this initiative as October Fest!! Yeeeey to that! :)

It feels good to be back!

I have been toying with the idea of blogging again for a long long time now. Many things are just so better expressed when written rather than said. Besides, i have always preferred writing down things that I like, hate and also things that I have an opinion about.

I remember when I started this blog I loved the feeling I felt when I hit the "Publish" buttom.

Maybe, after all these years I want that feeling back. I feel like writing again. I want to list down all the things that I have and want!!! It makes me feel more closer to who I am and who I want to be!

So I am now welcoming myself to the blog I abandoned so mercilessly. Welcome. And keep blogging! :)

Two years down the line..............

I don't remember the last time I blogged. I can only tell that it has been a long time since the urge to write had overpowered me and forced me to blog. Today again, after so many days, the urge has surfaced. I now WANT to blog, about everything. So here I am today, finally!!

Whenever I check my blog and come across the old posts, I smile and wonder. I wonder where did all these days go? What have I been doing all this while? The blog was started when I was a 5th year student of architecture to write down about how I feel about anything and everything in general. Its just the same , my views haven't changed, I as a person am very much the same, except that responsibilities have been doubled, circumstances changed and life has changed so much that sometimes I wonder if I have changed beyond recognition.

So here is something that I want to do now. Along with the me of today and me from this blog, I will start my journey again from where I had left it. And this would be MY journey. Just for ME!

I think it would be nice to look back about life every few years.

Slumdog....(saw).....Millionaire...(maynot see)....

I saw bits and pieces of Slumdog and didnt reach the Millionaire part.
The problem is I think I will never reach to the Millionaire part as I have lost the will to sit till the end!!
The only thing I can blame for this transition is circumstances!!!

Pune, Durga Coffee and More.......

For some weeks now, fridays are associated with a day trip to Pune. And for me, Pune means just GOOD FOOD and loads of COFFEE.

Now, I dont claim to know all the good places to eat in Pune but the ones I know are some of the excellent finds. Its a refreshing change from the food that we eat in Mumbai. The same thing just tastes better and different there. And then again, the variety of maharashtrian food available there is fantastic. Bhakri, usal, misal pav, thecha, valachi usal.............................wow, i could go on and on about all these things.

But the best way to end a meal is to have Durga's cold coffee!!!!!!! Its something which you could never get in mumbai or even in pune.

The foam which makes it yummy along with cocoa powder dusted over it makes it a visual treat. Also the smooth flavour and texture of the coffee, right below the layer of the thick foam, is out of this world. Also the tempretaure of the milk is just right. It dosent give you a instant freezing sensation if you try to gulp it down too fast. Just right , i say.

So, this coffee is highly recommended for all the cold coffee lovers. Its delicious, cheap [ actually very cheap, its only 9 bucks ] and if you fill it in a flask and ask your folks to deliver it to your doorstep in mumbai, it would still look and taste the same. I have tried that. Evertime we go tp pune, we fill flask of this coffee and get to mumbai for those who didnt make it to this trip.

So here I am wishing for more such Pune trips just for the coffee.
